Packaging

1. Position

The Aspirin® packaging should always be positioned above the UpSweep. For most applications the primary position of the packaging is to the left, aligned to the Bayer Cross.

The packaging should be placed at the center of the horizontal UpSweep line.

When necessary, the secondary position of the packaging is centered. This position would most likely be suited to narrow portrait formats.

Always align the packaging to the center of the horizontal UpSweep line.

In exceptional circumstances, where space is limited, the pack can be placed at the edge of the UpSweep. See example to the left.

2. Layout

Overlay

All of Aspirin’s® design elements have been created to work together. Use this visual guide and the examples on page 49 onwards to create any Aspirin® applications.

Overlay layout should be used for top-level communications, where the information displayed is kept to a minimum.

  1. The Aspirin® logo should always be placed at the top right. Make sure that the background is simple and dark enough to allow legibility
  2. The Aspirin® Effect light
  3. Keep the headline simple and precise. Use Brown Bold Italic when highlighting the positive impact of Aspirin®
  4. The UpSweep displays all three sections overlayed on a full bleed image
  5. Aspirin® URL should be placed in the bottom right corner

Divider

Divider layout follows similar principles, but enables the use of a more detailed amount of information.

Use Divider layouts for product and pillar communications or any other detailed application.

  1. The Aspirin® logo should always be placed at the top right. Make sure that the background is simple and dark enough to allow legibility.
  2. The Aspirin® Effect light.
  3. Divide the headline to ‘Problem’ and ‘Solution’. Use Typography accordingly. ‘Problem’ should be written in Brown Bold and should be slightly smaller than ‘Solution’. The latter should be written in Brown Bold Italic.
  4. The UpSweep displays all three sections.
  5. The Aspirin® packaging should be placed to the left aligned to the Bayer Cross.
  6. Divider layout helps to display additional text and information.
  7. Aspirin® URL should be placed in the bottom right corner.
divider

Overlay and Divider layout principles should be applied to any format, portrait or landscape. However, different formats will require a different use of Aspirin’s® brand elements.

Use this visual guide to create any of Aspirin’s® application formats.
